I love this painting! Especially because it a painting of the daughter of a long-time family friend that lives in France (and yes, they are French).

This painting, along with all my paintings. tells a story! I love the story of this young girl taking a walk along an ancient French street, shielding herself from the sun with her poetically pink umbrella.

The challenge of capturing the subjects of my paintings is always such fun.
