I like to think art helps keep us alive.
This week my new work is a bit somber. Not despairing, but calm and serene.
In moments of great chaos and confusion, I hope art helps us deal with the intense disarray of what lies ahead. I choose this week to not portray shouts from the mountain tops, but to remain still and silent within the embrace of a silent hug.
Hugs are therapy for the soul.
